LUVLY+WILDE was founded by Dan Bowman (a slightly wild illustrator, lettering artist, and designer) along with his creative and incredibly lovely wife, Karyn. They’ve always shared a passion for design and creating beautiful items to use and enjoy in their home — and in the natural world they love to explore with their two (very lovely and wild) children. Blessed to call coastal North Carolina home, they can often be found beach combing Lea Hutaff Island for sand dollars and sharks' teeth, surfing at Rich's Inlet or Masonboro Island, or fishing / dolphin watching all throughout the Intracoastal waterway.

Their passion for design combined with a love of nature inspired them to create a line of eco-friendly products — beach towels and blankets to start — to share with their local beach community. While most designs are influenced by their coastal environment in some way, some are simply an expression of the beauty and joy life gifts to each of us every single day.

This approach still holds true today, although our focus has slightly changed.
